RUSSIA

Russia’s far east had it’s hayday as a submarine base during the soviet period. No roads connect Kamchatka to the rest of the world. We came to camp out away from civilization, live from the land, and surf waves that had never been seen. Things didn’t go to plan. Poachers, brackish water and poisonous berries complicated an already complex trip, but it was an adventure we’ll remember the rest of our lives.
